Rice Harvest Parade!

Kayla was in the Rice Harvest Festival parade with JHSOD for dance! This is our first time at the parade, and I have to say that Kayla's float was by far the best! The boys got too much candy. Kayden's been holding out on real food, professing his affinity for Halloween every day! Have I mentioned that Kayden can SPELL Halloween? He can't identify the word he or the, but he can spell Halloween. That's Kayden! Love you and miss you all! monica

first day of school

Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 5th grade! Wow! All three in the same school this year! It has been a busy and exciting last few weeks of summer into first week of school. They all have been so cute this week, love their teachers, and are already getting busy with work to do at home and quizes the first week! Dan and I are, of course, back as well! It's so funny how a comfortable, meandering summer changes~ just like that! enjoy...

Grandma!

Grandma came to visit this past week, and wow! did the kids soak up every bit of Grandma that they could! Together they played and swam and painted and watched movies. These pics are at Lupe's (our tradition whenever Grandma and Grandpa visit). Love you, Grandma!
